Centrifugal Pump

In order to pump water out of your pool or spa, a centrifugal pump is used. A centrifugal pump generally uses an electric or gas-powered motor to spin an impeller. As the impeller spins, it creates a centrifugal force in the water which allows water to flow into the pump. The pump then manufactures a vacuum which sucks the water out of the pool.
