Most real problems with washing machines will require a service
person to come out and make repairs. But some smaller quirks may be things you
can handle yourself. Before you call a pro, try some troubleshooting tips for your washer.
If your particular problem isn't solved by these recommendations or doesn't appear on a list of troubles and solutions, it is a good bet that it is time to call for service.
Tip: Before doing any repairs, always shut off the water at the local shut-off valves and unplug your machine from the outlet.
