Jacuzzi Whirlpool

In the 1960’s the suburban home became the dwelling of choice for many American’s. A secluded oasis from the routine of their daily lives, every family became it’s own autonomous unit amongst other equal autonomous units.

While this segregation was great for security, it often put people far away from many of the communal activities that they had enjoyed before. One of these activities was the spa. Gone was community spa, but born was the home spa, with all of the same luxuries, with added privacy.

In 1968 Roy Jacuzzi parlayed this desire for home spa treatments into the business that bears his name. Developing his own products. Jacuzzi so became synonymous with, whirlpools and bathtubs with warm jets of air.

Since then the Jacuzzi whirlpool has expanded to include more than 250 patented products worldwide. Including multi-person spas with heating and filtrations systems and cleaning units.

In total Jacuzzi whirlpools are manufactured in 16 different countries, including the U.S. Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Taiwan and Japan.

One major part of the success of the Jacuzzi whirlpool is the patented filtration system that keeps the hot tubs clean.

The warm temperatures and stagnant waters found in whirlpools are a natural breeding ground for many microorganisms. This phenomenon led comedian Jerry Seinfeld to proclaim that Jacuzzi whirlpools are just a ‘bacterial frappe’. While the fastidious comedian was making a joke, bacteria levels in Jacuzzi whirlpools are no laughing matter.

In order to kill organisms like E-coli and Pseudomonas (found in human poop) Jacuzzi whirlpools use a simple but effective chlorination system in conjunction with their filters. Generally this chlorination kills most of the nasties, but Jacuzzi whirlpools have gone a step further.

Jacuzzi whirlpools are also fitter for chlorine dioxide, UV-disinfections and ozone generators. All of these systems working in conjunction ensure that your relaxing dip in Jacuzzi whirlpool is as safe as it is soothing.

So go ahead and check out a Jacuzzi whirlpool. You’ll be able to notice the difference that years of tradition and a multinational support network have to offer.
