Answer: There is an article from this site that gives all the details on refinishing tubs and other products. Here is a link: http://www.repair-home.com/how-_to/refinish_your_bathtub.htm.- I have not tried this myself, but have hired refinishing contractors to do three tubs over the years. The results have been great. The tub looks like new and it gives the whole room a new look. I paid about $400 each time. We moved after a few years, so I am not sure about the long term durability, but it is supposed to last for many years. Good luck!
