Answer: A new vanity and faucet can make a big difference in a bathroom. This is a project you can do yourself if you are somewhat handy and if you are replacing something of the same size (i.e., you don't have to reconfigure the room or move plumbing around to do it). Vanities can range from $50 to $1,000 or more, with most decent ones in the $150 to $300 range for a 24 to 30 inch size. There are many with furniture styling that are very nice. Faucets range from $50 to $250 for most bathroom models. This is a fairly inexpensive remodeling project that will pay big dividends. Browse around at a home improvement store and online for more ideas.
