Answer: To remodel a small attic space, you're probably going to spend $10,000 to $18,000. Among the main costs are the drywall, insulation, electrical, windows (if applicable), heating and cooling, paint and flooring. If you are going with basic finishes and using a contractor, I think you could get by with this budget. This assumes there are no major surprises, such as framing problems, mold issues, etc. If you want to do some of the work yourself, even the painting, you could save some money. I hope this helps.
