Answer: Hi Debra! It sounds like what you need is a professional organizer. There's actually an organization called the National Association of Professional Organizers, and they have a referral service on their website. Here's the link: http://www.association-office-.com/napo/referral/index.cfm.- I've never tried this service, so I can't tell you much more about it, but it sounds like a good place to get started. You could get a couple names of people in your area who specialize in bedroom organization, then give them a call to find out more about their services, how much they charge, etc.

Answer: Another option is a store such as The Container Store, where you take your measurements in and they lay out the space and sell you the shelving. Their systems are pretty easy to install (much better than the ones at many home improvement stores!). You just have to be careful about adding too many extras or it can get costly, but they are good at laying out the space and offering advice.
