Question: We just moved in our condo two months ago, but smoke alamr detector keep beeping for the last two days now. We've replaced the battery. HELP

Answer: Hi Ferry! You might just need to get a new smoke alarm. Here is something to try first, though. Sometimes, dirt and dust buildup on a smoke alarm can cause it to go off at random times throughout the day. Take the smoke alarm down, remove its cover, and give it a good wipe-down with a damp cloth. Then, use your vacuum to carefully vacuum off the smoke detector's sensor. Replace it on the wall, being sure to test it to make sure that it is now operating correctly.
