| Answer: No. Laminate floors cannot be sanded. That is one disadvantage of having laminate versus real wood. If the whole floor looks bad you have no choice but to replace it, but if it's just sections you can try cutting it out and patching in new, although I don't know if the coloring will blend together. You may want to get an opinion from a flooring contractor, as cutting out the laminate takes some precision. They can tell you whether it's worth your while or not. Good luck! |
