Q&A | Cleaning Services : Details

Title of Question: Details

Name:Cashgirl  City: Hometown, NC
Question: Should I expect my cleaning service to put things back where I had them to begin with...pictures in frames, nic-nacks, etc. It seems when I return home I have to put things back including hair products that were removed from the shower - they were left sitting out on the bathroom floor. I have to pick up before she comes...should I have to put back when she leaves? Am I being too picky?

Answer: Hi Cashgirl! I think your expectations are reasonable. Have you tried talking to your cleaning professional about your concerns? She might not know that this is bothering you. I'm sure that if she knew you would prefer that she put your things back exactly where she found them as she cleaned, she'd be happy to oblige.

Answer: You would think...but she apparently got offended - said since I was dissatisfied with her work that I should find someone else. I overlooked it the first couple of times - thought with time she would get used to where things belonged, but she didn't. Anyway, on with the search for someone new. Thank you Annie.
