| Answer: I've seen landscaping contractors use a flat, almost square, shovel to make those edgings. They look good for awhile, but require repeated work to maintain them. We had them at our last house and I found that in sloping areas we got a lot of dirt runoff. Depending on the size of the area, you may want to consider using a metal, brick or stone edging to keep things in place more permanently. |
