| Question: Time has come to install privacy fencing along our property. While the pressure treated wood sections are fine, I'd like to go with aluminum posts. It would eliminate the rot and would,in my opinion, hold up a lot longer.
My question is: Does anyone make aluminum fence posts with a wood look to em and can they be gotten in sizes larger than 2.5"x2.5" |

| Answer: Hi Rich! I don't know of any aluminum posts that resemble wood. Most that I have seen are designed to look like iron. If you type "aluminum fence post" into a web search engine, you will be able to find some choices in widths thicker than 2.5 X 2.5. Another option you might want to consider is vinyl. You'd get the wood look you like, but it's much lower maintenance than wood. |
