| Question: Why do I add rocks to the bottom of a french drain tube? Won't this allow water to drain around the tube and underneath it - where I don't want the water to go? |

| Answer: The rocks are for overall drainage, to help the water flow through the French drain. Ideally, if the French drain is properly installed, you shouldn't need to worry about water going to the wrong places. |
