I need some help with building my new dream home. I'm looking for some inspiration and even may want to purchase a good home plan.
Can anyone suggest a good site online? I'm from Avondale Estates, Georgia. So, that might give you an idea of the surrounding architechture

I would suggest taking a look at www.slhouseplans.com. It has some unique house plans and it would definitely suit your southern style.
The site may also help you decide which type of house you want to go for. But, once you decide that, it is a lot of fun to go through the different styles of housing .. A-Frames, Bungalows, Cape Cods, Chalets, Colonial style homes, Farmhouses, Federal/Georgian, Southern style homes and many more.
You can also custom design your house. I think the plans are a good buy.

House Plan Central has a large collection of home plans and unique house plans in many different architectural styles, from the nation's top house designers and architects. There are New home plans, Free House Plans, Small House Plans, Country House Plans, Southern House Plans, or Luxury Home Plans, basically you can say that the database is huge!!! I am sure you would find the right one here. |
