| Answer: Marble is a fairly soft stone that can become scratched and stained fairly easily. For routine cleaning, just use a damp rag with water on it and then buff the area dry with a chamois. For tough stains and the soap buildup you mentioned, try a neutral cleaner that is not abrasive, such as ammonia.
