| Question: I had a new roof installed less than a week ago. Used an Owens Corning architectural shingle over new felt.
Along the eaves, the shingles extend over the gutters the proper distance, about an inch. Not all the shingles along the edge lie perfectly flat but seem to curve up then back down--even along the same shingle. We've had rain and the flow into the gutters seems unaffected. Will the shingles lie more flat after more exposure to heat and sun like the roofer says? Is this anything to be concerned about? The rest of the roof looks fine and I'm inclined to believe the roofer, but it's driving my wife (and therefore me) crazy thinking the job hasn't been done properly. |
