Question: I want to put in a concrete paver patio in my yard. Our entire house was waterproofed from the outside 2 yrs ago. The perimeter of the house now has about 8 ft of stone with 16 in of topsoil on top of it. I want to know if the weight of the new pavers (including 2 or 3 steps) would be ok, or will I need some type of footer? Would tamping the area be sufficient? Thanks
