Question: Asphalt shingles have raised, creating a small ridge approx 3 feet in length and about 3/4 inches in height. What could be the cause & how serious is it There doesn't appear to be any leaks & the roof is about 9 years old.

Answer: It could be that the roof deck underneath the shingles is popping up. Happens quite a bit. Might get worse or it might stay the same. It can be fixed from on top with one person, or from the underside (attic) but it usually takes one guy on top and one guy on bottom. -Roofhelp.com
