| Answer: Sealing a fence is a relatively easy home improvement project. It just takes time and patience. There are two approaches – a paint sprayer or rollers and brushes. I have found that a combination of both works best, but it depends on the style of fence and how much there is to do. Paint sprayers help you spray a large area, but you have to be careful of overspraying and wasting the sealer or getting it all over your bushes and flowers. With a sprayer you typically need a brush handy to quickly go back over what you just sprayed, as it doesn't always go on smoothly. Decent sprayers start around $65, so if it's a small fence it may just be easier to use rollers and paint brushes.
