Question: I had some trees cut recently, one fell onto a hemlock tree and split it almost in half to the ground, I can see the base of the branches from the split. The tree cutter is telling me they can put some type of skin patch on it and it will survive. This sound foolish to me but I would rather keep the tree if possibile...is this a real solution or is this tree going to die?
