| Answer: In many cases the trouble behind windows that are hard to open is the paint. If your windows have layers and layers of paint, take a paint scraper and try to cut the edge around the window frame to remove some paint. Another option is to lightly sand the areas where the window sticks, but make sure you're not dealing with lead paint first. It also could be the moisture, if you're in a very humid place. Running the air conditioner at a lower temperature might help. |
