Q&A | Home Improvement : Website for advertising railing job in my house.

Title of Question: Website for advertising railing job in my house.

Name:JOSHUA  City: bhopal
Question: I need to install railings in my house. I am thinking of using oak wood for railings and newels in addition to 9/16 wrought iron balusters probably installing them on stair treads and on oak flooring. I also need to install new Dynasty cabinets made of Quarter sawn oak in the kitchen. Can anyone refer me any website where I can advertise about this job and then compare the bids before actually contacting the carpenter. Please help.

Answer: Hi Joshua! Have you tried Craig's List yet (www.craigslist.org, then click on your city or state to go to your local site)? Lots of people check the job postings there, and if you find the right section in which to put your post (maybe skilled trade/craft?), you might be able to attract a fair bit of interest. I'm afraid I don't know of any websites specific to the construction industry. Hope this helps!
