Well water is "silty"

| Question: My well pump went, so we had a jet pump replaced with a submersible pump. Since then the water has had a silty sediment in it, intermittently. We have had the expansion tank replaced, we have had the repairman run the water through a garden hose directly from the well for several days, and still the water comes out of the faucets, toilets, laundry with the sediment in it. At times, it seems to be clearing up, but then it starts again. Does anyone know what we should do??? |
