Question: We are looking to create a roon in the attic over our garage. We have a 2 story house with a 3 car garage, and a bonus room over tha 2-car bay. We would like to make a room over the third bay. The problem is, the builder apparently "cheaped out" and put 2x4 engineered trusses over the tird bay. Any idea on rough costs to make this area sturdy? I would like to pay to get this ~10x20' x 16' tall area framed and insulated to code, then could wire, drywall, paint, floor at my lesure.
