Answer: Hi Osborn! In general, you'll want to snip off the tip of the plastic dispenser using a utility knife. You'll want to cut the smallest amount possible so that the caulk does not come out faster than you can control it. Caulk comes in cardboard and plastic tubes. If your tube is plastic, you should be done and the caulk should start coming out of the tip. If it is cardboard, you'll need to stick a long nail up the caulking tube's tip. There's usually a second seal on cardboard tubes, which you'll pierce with the nail. Then you'll be ready to load your caulk tube into your caulk gun and start caulking.

Answer: I caulked around the bathtub, however, I can see that I didn't use enough. Can I re-apply a new coat over what I just applied? sbruce@quickclic.net
