Question: how long does it take for the caulk to set around a bath tub. I have read the tube, but there is no timeline listed for drying or setting

Answer: Hi Mary! I'm surprised that the caulk tube doesn't tell you how long it takes for the caulk to set. That's important information! You should plan on waiting 24 hours for the caulk to be completely set, and then you'll be good to go.

Answer: Another idea I learned from a contractor is to use a hair dryer to dry the area. Obviously you have to use care and make sure the tub is dry when you're doing this, but it can help speed along the process. A fan also will help, as it can draw out moisture and help the caulk dry faster. Good luck!
