Question: We removed my chandelier from the ceiling to relocate to s new home. The arm broke. The chandelier arm is one of 5. It is a deeply grooved S glass tube with electrical wire running thru it out to the globe. It broke at the base. We have tried bracing it with a steel bit from a hole in the base and up thru the tube and using epoxy, We let it dry over 24 hours and it seemed to be holing, however 12 hours later the bond failed. It is a very old crystal chandelier and I badly wish to repair it. Any ideas?
