For an average size kitchen (12 by 14), you can expect to pay $3,000 to $7,000 for cabinets with moderate features and quality. To keep costs down, go with a stock cabinet and add a few glass doors and some crown molding to dress it up. Cabinet hardware also can make a big bang for a small investment.
