Answer: Anytime food is burned or bakes unevenly, it usually means the heat is not moving around the oven evenly. Another possibility is that the thermostat controls are not working correctly. Try removing any foil and moving any oven racks to make sure they are not blocking the heating source. There should be a way to recalibrate the temperature controls. Also, is the door closing properly? Otherwise it may be allowing heat to escape and, thus, throwing off the temperature. Check with your oven manufacturer or a local heating contractor for help.
