Answer: This could be an expensive home improvement project! Much depends on how far away you are to your nearest electrical wires. If they all originate from the basement and you have to take the lines through the yard to the garage, it will get costly. You'll also want to find out what your town's rules are on overhead versus underground wiring. If you have to go underground and have to go through any concrete or asphalt to get there, the cost will reflect that. I would talk with an electrician and your building department first. Good luck!
