Question: The one's I've talked too all seem either shady or inexperienced. I need someone to remodel a small bathroom.

Answer: Yes, it can be hard to find a good contractor, but you have to keep trying. I'm assuming you've asked neighbors and friends for recommendations. Have you asked at a local plumbing supply store or bathroom showroom? They usually know who the good contractors are. There also are several contractor referral services online that can match you with a contractor. With any contractor, just make sure you check references and go see the finished work. That will tell you volumes about how detail oriented they are – look at the tile edges and the area behind the toilet to see how well they do with details. Good luck!
