Question: dryer worked great, layed it on it's side to move it. Runs, but no heat.

Answer: Hi Debbie! An easy thing to check for this problem is your fuse box. Your dryer actually uses two different breakers on your fuse box, one of which is responsible for the dryer's heat. So, it's possible that the fuse for the heating element was blown, but the one that makes the dryer run is fine. Try resetting the breakers, and see if this helps. If it does not, you might want to seek out an expert, unless you're very confident in your electrical skills. Possible issues include an open thermal fuse (only on more recent dryer models), a broken heating element, or problems with the thermostat. If you've got your dryer's owner's manual, you can check out how hard it would be to open up the dryer and try to diagnose its problems, but again, electrical problems make me nervous, so if it were me I'd look for a repair person.
