Question: Is this an easy DIY project? It's a small bathroom and the walls are in good shape.

Answer: Yes, I think painting a small bathroom is a great DIY home improvement project, particularly if the walls are in good shape. Plan to check the walls again with daylight and/or a strong work light to look at all the areas. If there are any cracks, fill them with joint compound to get them smooth, then sand and prime. Next caulk around any baseboards or windows and then you're ready to prime and paint. While a small bathroom can be done in a weekend, remember there are lots of little places to paint that can get frustrating. Tape off all tile so you keep them paint free. And, invest in good paint from a paint store. It is worth the price. Good luck.
