| Answer: You should be able to use any paint that is designed for metal. Check with a local paint or home improvement store. If the pipe has not been primed, you'll want to prime it first with a primer designed for metal and for exteriors. I would buy the best paint available, as you don't want to be redoing this too often. Make sure there is no rain expected for 2-3 days after you plan to do the work. You also can use a sprayer, but there are pros and cons to that. They are quicker, but tend to overspray, so if you have landscaping planted nearby, I would not use a sprayer. Hope this helps! |
