| Question: I had my roof recently done to fix a standing water problem.Now since I paid 3600 dollars to fix the problem.The problem had gotten bigger.Ponding of water has spread and what alternatives do I have.
Please Help,no money with two young kids to take care of. |

| Answer: The first thing to do is to contact the roofing contractor who just fixed the roof. Have them come out and look at the problem. Also call your local building department – hopefully you got a permit for the work – and ask them to take a look at it. Did they inspect the work during the project? If the contractor is not willing to fix the work, then you may have a bigger issue. Hopefully, between the contractor and your local town officials you can figure out a solution. If you need to hire someone new, check references carefully and do not pay them ahead of the work being done. Always get a permit so the village can inspect the work. Good luck! |
