Post Your Answer To The Question Above:
| Answer: Hi Chuck! It is definitely okay to use stain and sealant on your pressure treated lumber. In fact, you should definitely plan on using a sealant every year or two to keep your deck from gradually getting damaged by water. Before you apply either product, though, make sure that your lumber is very, very dry, and make sure that you check the weather forecast. The products generally take around 24 hours to dry, so you should not do any sealing if there is rain on the horizon. |
