Question: how do i go about replacing a strip of wall paper already exist on a wall with a hole and peeling problem.

Answer: This is a tricky home improvement project, but one you can do if you work carefully. First, buy some wallpaper remover (Dap or another brand), mix it with water and use a rag to moisten only the part you want to remove (keep an inch or two margin on each side so you don't accidentally wet the paper you want to keep. You can also score it with a blade to help make a clean cut. Leave the moisture on there for a few minutes (but not too long) and then try peeling it off. Regarding the hole, I'm not sure if that's a hole in the wall to fix. If so, repair it as you would a hole in drywall (use joint compound). And, also try to figure out why the wallpaper is peeling before you put more on. Hope this helps.
