| Question: I tried to clean a spot onthe sink with a very soft file and it made a black spot. Now I can't get the black stain out. Can anyone help me on this. |

| Answer: Hi Linda! Try making a paste of baking soda and liquid dish soap. Apply it to the stain, and rub it gently with a soft cloth. Be sure to rinse it thoroughly when you are done. If that isn't working, you could also try a bit of white vinegar. Just as with the baking soda paste, apply the vinegar to the stain then rub it with a soft cloth. If neither of these methods work, you should try a professional stainless steel cleaner. I like Barkeeper's Friend. Apply it according to the directions on the package. Hope this helps! |
