| Answer: Try using a very fine piece of sandpaper and gently rubbing the stain until it (hopefully) disappears. This is one home improvement project where speed is not desirable, so go slow and try a tiny section first. I have also heard that a typical pencil eraser can work, but have not tried that method. Another option is to consult a good dry cleaner and ask what they would use. It might pay to have them do it, but make sure it's a company you trust because they may make it worse with chemicals. |
