| Question: i have a whirlpool super capacity 465 electric range & i dont have the manual,the top element comes on for both bake & broil,i cant get the bottom element to work,oh & even when i push the off button the top element stays on. i have to unplug it. |

| Answer: It sounds like you got a lemon, although you'd need to have it tested to be sure. It could be something fault in the wiring that is making each area come on and off so sporadically. I would contact the manufacturer and see if they have old owner's manuals you can look at. Many companies have them on their web site or could mail you one. (It should be www.whirlpool.com) The other option is to call an appliance contractor to have them take a look at it, although obviously there will be a fee for that. Good luck! |
