Question: considering replacing existing windows, contractors will be doing it during winter months, should we be concerned with the outside temperature and installation

Answer: Dear Joyeth; Its not unusual for window installers to work in the winter. Many days in the winter are above freezing anyway. There are some cautions however. Dont have the furnace outlets blowing underneath the window openings if the new glass is going to temporarily set down on the floor. The hot air on cold glass can cause it to crack. Also if its going to be a really cold day and condensation starts forming, its going to be imposibble to any indoor caulking on frames with water vapour condensing on them. But your contractor should be accustomed to these problems Best Regards Adrian www.all-about-screen-doors.com

Answer: I have a double pane window which has moisture between the panes. I want to replace it myself but find no way to remove just the windows. Where can I find proceedures and who supplies the windows.
