Answer: Hi Shaneegirl, To get rid of the water stain, you can use a combination of something mildly abrasive with something that lubricates. A couple popular combinations are non-gel toothpaste and baking soda, or mayonnaise and cigarette ashes (yum!). Use a soft cloth to rub the paste on the stain with the grain of the wood. Then, use a clean damp cloth to remove the paste. Finish up with a clean dry cloth, then polish the area as you do normally. Hope this helps!
