Tile Replacement Tool Guide

The steps in this task are not complicated. The hardest element will be getting the broken tile out of its spot, but with the right tools, it’s practically a no-brainer.

You’ll need:

- Goggles
- A tile or glass cutter
- A metal straight edge (ruler)
- A nail sink or point-ended chisel
- A hammer
- A blunt-ended chisel (or a broad flat-head screwdriver)
- A putty knife
- A paint scraper
- A wood block that is slightly larger than the tile
- Mastic or other adhesive made for wall installation
- Patching plaster
- Matching color grout
- Masking tape
