When To Build Your Pool

Be sure to plan ahead if you’d like to have your pool ready for the summer. Chances are most other people hoping to get a pool have the same timeline as you. Obviously springtime is the peak season for pool installations. You should inquire about having a pool installed at least two seasons before you need it installed.

Bad weather and other conditions can slow down an installers entire work schedule and you want to make sure that you are at the top of the list. If you are a person of extreme patience and restraint you can have your pool installed in the fall. Generally you will have fewer problems if you do this and it may even be cheaper. The only problem is that you’ll have to stare at your beautiful investment all winter. If you do want to build in the fall, it should be arranged for early fall.

September or October. You never know when winter will hit and having a half finished pool sit around over the course of the winter can drive your costs up substantially. Also, much if the heavy equipment used in digging up the land for your pool can only be used in the warmer months.
