Name: Caulk Queen City: South Brunswick
Question: I was recently told that my tub is slightly un level. It seems to be tilting down towards the faucet and then again towards the front edge, so a puddle of water is constantly forming in the front corner on the floor. I've tried several times to caulk the tub area directly under the faucet but it constantly splits and cracks. I'm assuming that because there is a constant accumulation of water the caulking stays semi moist and never completely dries between usages. Is there an underwater sealant used with pools that I could possibly use instead of 100% silicone? I've tried every caulking sold and so far nothing has held for more than 3 days before the caulking splits down the center.
