Marble Cleaning

Question: Is it safe to use a small amount of Dawn Dish Detergent added to a pail of water to clean marble in a shower area that has light soap scum and water mineral spots??? I am trying to avoid using harsh chemicals. It sounds like drying immediately is then the thing to do. Thank you.
