Craftsman Garage Door Opener Problem

Question: I have a 1/2 HP Craftsman Garage Door opener that will open with no problem. When you try to close it, the door will only go down about 4"-6" and then immediately go back up and the light blinks like something is blocking the sensors. If you hold the button down, you can close the door all the way but as soon as it closes, it immediately starts to go back up. I also cannot find a manual on this opener. It is approximately 2 years old. Craftsman 1/2 HP, Chain Drive.

Answer: Check the sensors in the doorway. They need to be pointed at one another. Each of them has a small light that is lit when they are aligned properly.
