How To Drop A Ceiling

Question: I have an unfinished expandable room that we want to convert into a theater. Our ceiling is a 14' slopped triangular shaped roof. We want to drop the ceiling to at least 12', and we will be doing ourselves but not sure how to drop the ceiling with it being a slopped ceiling. Can someone instruct us step by step as to how to do this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
