Removal Of Old Window Caulk

Question: What is the best method to remove old (11 years), dried and cracked outside caulking from existing windows, so new caulk will work well. Does caulk come in colors?

Answer: You mean caulk or glazing compound?...Either way use a stiff putty knife and/or a razor scraper matt knife.
