Question: I have 2 windows that will not stay up when opened, it looks like the cord is broke. How do I replace?

Answer: I,m assuming you have wood windows with weights inside the side.Take the window out buy removing the sash beads holding the window in the frame.Pry the wood section in the lower side open to reveal the weight in the side.Do the same thing for the other side.Install some cord or chain through the wooden sides where the old cord was,and attach it to the weight and the window.Put everything back together the opposite way you took it out.Pay close attention how you take off the cord,so you can put the new one on the same way.
